The additive for cores, specifically developed to eliminate expansion defects caused by the silica sand. A very fine powder in two different colours, red (
AF#2M) or green (
AF#2MG), which offers immediate visual traceability. When added directly into the mixer, in very small percentage, tipically of 0,5% - 1,0%, it is proven to eliminate veining even in the most severe cases.
The additive for ferrous alloys which allows control over slag generation and build up in furnaces and ladles. Small additions of
SLAGCURE K, with the charge or into the ladle for nodular treatments, can greatly improve melting efficiency and metal quality by reducing entrained slags.
SLAGCURE K does not contain any fluorides therefore it is not harmful the operator. Besides it can be used in total safety, without the fear of attacking the refractory lining but, instead, improving lining life.
A highly effective pattern release used in all types of greensand moulding, specifically developed for high productive equipments such as DISA, SAVELLI, KW, HWS, HUNTER etc.
Sprayed automatically or manually onto the pattern surface, ideally as a vapour, in very small amounts , may also bring to reduction in use against other release agents.
The
PF 875, very low in odour, sensibly improves the area in which it is sprayed. It also has a high flashpoint which makes it safe for transportation and storage.
The
SC2 is a formulated sand additive which, added in small controlled levels, improves both the quality and performance of greensand moulding systems. It helps to avoid the problem caused by the hot returned sand, usually affecting many foundries. A free-flowing powder, which mixes very easily with the sand. Small additions, directly in the mill, provides the reconditioning of the green sand system, with the following benefits:
less friable surfaces
greater toughness to the mix
better tolerance to change of casting size and weight
better quality moulds, better casting surface finish and dimensional accuracy
