DK PIG IRON is a hematite pig iron, produced by DK Recycling und Roheisen Gmbh, at their facilities in Duisburg, Germany. The specificity of the producer, unique in the world for its own developed recycling DK-process, and the accuracy of controls, make DK a primary quality product, widely appreciated by foundries.
ANALYSIS
Nearly 100 different analysis are being continuously produced in DK: a tailor-made product, always apt to comply with our customer needs.
Precise analysis, carried out both before and after the casting process in the blast furnace, allow the classification of the different lots.
The accuracy of the quality system and the frequency of the tests lead to a certified product. Each tapping can be traced back precisely. Standard analysis pig iron are regularly kept in stock, on the basis of the qualities most used.
STOCKS
Nearly 30 different types of pig iron are normally kept in stock, separated in dedicated areas and placed on a concrete pavement of self-locking blocks, to avoid the contact with the ground floor. The loading is performed by means of electromagnets which ensures pig iron cleanliness even further.
Besides, as we always have a large quantity of standard types available in stock, we manage to deliver fast and to prevent shortages beforehand.
DELIVERIES
We are very flexible on delivery schedule and always plan it in agreement with the customer, be it on water, by rail and on roads. We can meet each customer's requirement both in terms of volume and consignment, by offering a tailor-made logistic service.
The pig iron, loaded in DK facilities, is unloaded directly at the final customer, without further handling in-between, thus guaranteeing the total control of the product.
